“This is an express train that departed ten years ago, traveling through my teenagehood, heading to the moon. It was a journey in which I’m so grateful that there’s always the company of his music.”
“Moon-Bound Express” is a dedication to the 10th year of me listening to, being supported and inspired by Taiwanese musician Phil Chang. In this interactive website, I constructed six rooms based on the stories, imaginations, and cultural narratives associated with six songs of his that held the most significant meanings to myself.
I see “Moon-Bound Express” as not only a fan-art piece. I have been exploring whether the traditionals, sorrow and tenderness of the last century can be integrated into the wonder, magnificence and dreaminess of my art. I don’t want to only reproduce the familiar images from music videos and album covers. I want to pay tribute to his creation with my creation, leaving new interpretations and infinite possibilities.

《月向列车》 是我为纪念成为台湾歌手张宇第十年创作的网页交互艺术作品。在这部作品中，我将张宇对我意义最深刻的六首经典作品，赋予新的对视觉与故事的想象，并以我熟悉的电子拼贴技术构建出了六个可供探索的超现实“车厢”。
对我而言，《月向列车》 不仅是一个粉丝/同人作品。在我的创作中，我不断探索着对我影响深远的九十年代文艺作品与更加实验、先锋的视觉艺术结合的可能性。这种碰撞中蕴藏着少有人探索的魅力。比起复刻经典MV与专辑里的视觉，我更想以我的创作致敬他的创作，同时这也是一种不断启发与传承的旅程。
